Checks and Balances under attack in Carson City

Hearings regarding this measure are happening today, but ongoing opposition to it via email, snail mail, phone call or whatever it takes, will be necessary.  We the people are being railroaded again by the legislature.  Making the Treasurer and Controller appointed rather than elected positions gives too much power to the majority party and the governor.  This must be vigorously opposed!  Maintain our system of checks and balances!

Is Obama plotting to undermine the Trump presidency?

obama-trumpLenin, Hitler, Mao, Alinsky-they all practiced or preached anarchy, street violence, and revolution. This ex-president is now revealing who he really is-the leader of the revolution to turn America into a Marxist state-the culmination of 100 years of progressive planning.  Lenin said that the West must be defeated from within by destroying our values and institutions.  Since this has been largely accomplished, the violent phase has begun. How the new administration responds may well determine whether we still have a Constitution and a republic. Pay close attention… Read more

AMAC Calls for Peaceful Opposition to Violent Protests

There is plenty of proof that organized agitators are behind attempts to substitute mob rule for the rule of law

WASHINGTON, DC, Feb 17 – “Anti-government protesters seek to disrupt the work of our nation’s elected officials on a scale never seen before,” says Dan Weber, president of the Association of Mature American Citizens.  “And former President Obama says he approves,”

In fact, Weber notes, 10 days after he left office Mr. Obama’s spokesman issued a statement saying, “President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country,”

The AMAC chief points to the fact that the protesters appear to be well organized, earning the moniker, Obama’s Army.  That’s how the New York Times described the phenomenon.  Read More

Steve Beaman on Trump’s Economic Plan

Steve Beaman on Trump’s Economic

Plan

Posted On Aug 17 2016By : Susan Swift Arnall

Steve Beaman, self-made millionaire and business man turned financial educator, explains how Trump’s economic plan will reverse America’s flagging economy by putting money back into the hands of private citizens where it belongs.

Starting out as a retail stock broker for E.F. Hutton in the 1980’s, Steve eventually joined with “two very bright partners” to start Chicago Investment Analytics which became the premier provider of investment research and equity research in the country through the 1990s. Today, Steve is the Chairman of the Society to Advance Financial Education, or “SAFE”, a not-for-profit geared and devoted both toward promoting and providing financial education to regular Americans. He has 30 years of experience in the financial industry and recently spoke to Politichicks about how to achieve financial prosperity.

In the following Q&A, Steve explains why Trump’s economic plan will stimulate the stagnant U.S. economy by cutting personal and business taxes, eliminating sneaky tax code benefits for elite financial gurus, and stopping the massive bureaucratic regulations choking small business.

Steve also explains what is really killing small businesses; why Obamacare will be repealed no matter who’s president; the real threat to the minimum wage; what killed small banks; and what to watch for if the FED raises rates.

ON TRUMP’S ECONOMIC PLAN

Q: What do you think of Trump’s economic plan unveiled recently in Detroit? What are the good points about Trump’s economic plan and what do you think the bad points about it are, if any?

TRUMP’S GROUNDBREAKING BID FOR INNER CITIES

WND EXCLUSIVE

TRUMP’S GROUNDBREAKING BID

FOR INNER CITIES

Republican candidate targets

minority vote, Democrats in

Milwaukee

WASHINGTON – It’s not unusual for Donald Trump to do things Republican presidential candidates of the past haven’t done.

But his appearance in Milwaukee Tuesday night was, well, unprecedented in a different way from what he has said and done in 2016.

Trump made an all-out, coherent bid for the inner-city vote, invading the inner sanctum and holy ground of the Democratic Party for 50 years.

“Tonight, I am going to talk about how to make our communities safe again from crime and lawlessness,” he said, first standing behind police in a city ravaged for days by rioting and violence over a police shooting that, if the facts laid out by law enforcement are true, does not appear to be a violation of policy, let alone the law.

He said the mayhem in Milwaukee is “an assault on the right of all citizens to live in security and peace.”

“Law and order must be restored. It must be restored for the sake of all, but most especially the sake of those living in the affected communities,” he added. “The main victims of these riots are law-abiding African-American citizens living in these neighborhoods. It is their jobs, their homes, their schools and communities which will suffer as a result. There is no compassion in tolerating lawless conduct. Crime and violence is an attack on the poor, and will never be accepted in a Trump administration.”

He called for more police in America’s poorest communities and more effective policing.

“Just like Hillary Clinton is against the miners, she is against the police,” he said. “You know it, and I know it. Those peddling the narrative of cops as a racist force in our society – a narrative supported with a nod by my opponent – share directly in the responsibility for the unrest in Milwaukee, and many other places within our country. They have fostered the dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America.”

The pipeline’s approved. Environmentalists are angry.

The pipeline’s approved.

Environmentalists are angry.

08.12.2016

By Marita Noon

Final federal approval for what is being called the “new Keystone” came from the Army Corps of Engineers on July 26 — allowing the pipeline to move forward. The 1,168-mile long Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), also called the Bakken Pipeline, is comparable in length to the Keystone XL. It will cross four states and carry 450,000 barrels of oil a day from North Dakota to a transfer terminal in Illinois where it will connect with other pipelines and be taken to refineries.

The $3.8 billion dollar project has pitted environmentalists against economic interests.

During the Keystone fight, outspoken opponent Jane Kleeb, founder of Bold Nebraska, said: “In America we should be focused on making sure that the oil in North Dakota, Oklahoma, and others, in Montana, that that oil is getting to market.” Now, thanks to DAPL, America’s oil will have a safer way to get “to market” — freeing up as many as 750 train cars a day to transport corn, soybeans, and grain. However, as soon as DAPL came on the scene, they moved the marker, and environmental opposition was mounted. Bold Iowa, a group that shares a website with Kleeb’s Bold Nebraska, says it has members willing to risk arrest in “nonviolent protests.” They are also training monitors to report any environmental violations or hazards.

DOJ Rewards Law-Breaking Sanctuary Cities, States with $342 Mil in “Grants”

DOJ Rewards Law-Breaking

Sanctuary Cities, States with $342

Mil in “Grants”

AUGUST 01, 2016

The Obama administration rewards sanctuary states, counties and cities that shield violent illegal immigrants from deportation with hundreds of millions of dollars in federal grants and one of the biggest recipients recently made headlines for protecting a serial criminal who murdered a young woman. The money flows through the Department of Justice (DOJ), the agency responsible for enforcing the law and defending the interests of the United States. The DOJ is also charged with providing federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime, according to its mission statement, and seeking just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior.

Apparently this doesn’t apply to local governments that support the president’s broad open borders policies, even when they violate federal law. The DOJ doled out $342,168,401 to 10 sanctuary states and cities that proudly reject federal claims for criminal illegal aliens earmarked for removal, according to the agency’s independent watchdog. Among them is Connecticut, a trailblazer in the sanctuary movement that received more than $69 million in grants from the DOJ. Connecticut has long protected illegal immigrants with sanctuary policies and even offers them special drivers’ licenses, known as Drive Only. The state also gives illegal aliens discounted tuition at public colleges and universities and authorities work hard to restrict the feds from deporting illegal immigrants. Last year an illegal immigrant who had spent 17 years in prison for attempted murder stabbed a 25-year-old woman to death in Norwich, a city of about 40,000 residents. The murderer had been earmarked for deportation at least three times.

“I’m Offended By Claims This Hearing Is Political Theater”

Rep. Hurd Grills Comey: “I’m

Offended By Claims This Hearing Is

Political Theater”; “I’ve Seen My

Friends Killed”

Posted By Tim Hains
On Date July 7, 2016

At a House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday, Rep. Will Hurd grills FBI director James Comey about Hillary Clinton’s email server security.

“I’m offended” Hurd said after listening to Democrats casting questions over the investigation as nothing more than “political theater.”

“I spent 9 1/2 years as an undercover officer in the CIA. I was the guy in the back alleys, collecting intelligence, passing it to lawmakers. I’ve seen my friends killed. I’ve seen assets put in harms way” an angry Hurd declared. “Does SAP inclue Humint and Sigint?”

Comey responded that it was possible, but he could not say in this setting.

“The Secretary of State had an unauthorized email server in her basement, those are your words,” said Hurd. “Who or what was protecting that server?”

“Not much,” Comey responded.

“You don’t think this sends a message to other employees that if the former Secretary of State can have an unauthorized server in their basement that transmits top secret information… that’s not a problem?” Hurd asked in response.
